HISWA Amsterdam welcomes classic boats

ENKHUIZEN _ Starting in 2014, Europe’s only show for classic and traditional vessels will merge with the annual Amsterdam boat show of the Dutch boating lobby HISWA. The Classic Boats Show (photo: 2010 show) had 16 annual editions. Its merger with the annual HISWA show  will “guarantee the future of classic ships,” says the Classic Boats website.

The merger is a boon for both sides. The Classic Boats Show,  held over a long weekend in the fall, easily attracted 170 or so exhibitors, 70 to 90 boat displays and well over 5,000 visitors. HISWA’s marketing power should guarantee the future of classic boats _ both old, restored or newly made _ in the Netherlands. By bringing classic boats into its fold, HISWA can offer an unprecedented range of nautical products and services at its annual show in Amsterdam’s RAI complex.

HISWA also organizes an In-water show in the Dutch capital. There was no immediate word if that show would also feature classic craft.

Adults with ADHD also have more accidents and wind up in the
emergency room more. The extent of the crimes
against humanity already committed by psychiatry can never be forgiven. ADHD is
diagnosed much more often in boys than in girls.
