AMSTERDAM  _ Sevenstar Yacht Transport has started a monthly service from Antwerp to Brazil. The first cargo, in November, 2012, was 90 ft Jongert yacht. Amsterdam-based Sevenstar also launched a bi-monthly service linking Palm Beach, Fla. to Brazil and Argentina.

Sevenstar boasts a fleet of over 120 independent carriers. Annually, it transports over 1,200 motor and sailing yachts, up to 52 meters long. As Sevenstar began its Antwerp-to-Brazil service, rival Dockwise Ltd. weighed a bid from Royal Boskalis Westminster N.V for 33% of its shares. Dockwise did not say ‘no,’ but was not happy with the offer of €17.20 a share. Dockwise Ltd. is a Bermuda-incorporated company, with headquarters in Breda, NL.
