MAKKUM _ K&M Yachtbuilders has delivered its biggest-ever sailing yacht _ the German Frers-designed, 88-ft  ‘Tulip’ _ to its Dutch owner. The yacht has a classic hull form above the waterline, but has a flat underwater hull. Its lifting keel provides for a draft from 3.20 – 5.10 m. The owner will take ‘Tulip’ to the Mediterranean and the Caribbean over the next few years. The 27-m yacht was on display during the Hiswa In-Water Boat show at the Amsterdam Marina in September, 2012,

There is room on board for 6 guests and 2 crew members. The wheelhouse will be the central living space, with a dining table, card table, TV, library and fridge. All 4 cabins have their own wet cell. K&M builds and finishes custom-built, aluminum sailing yachts and makes aluminum on/offshore equipment structures.
