February 18, 2013 by robert in Featured, Maritime Netherlands with 0 Comments

LEEUWARDEN _ The season-opening Boat Holland show lured more than 36,000 visitors to this northern Dutch city. Participants reported doing decent business despite the news _ coinciding with the show _ that the Netherlands has entered a recession. Among the visitors and buyers: Romanians, Swiss, Austrians, Belgians and Germans. In 2012, the show had 32,500 visitors. Organizers had hoped to attract 40,000 visitors, but a day of heavy snowfall spoiled that party. The next Boat Holland: Feb. 7-12, 2014
